Learn English successfully for work

Learn business English at alerno in family atmosphere with the inclusion of efficient learning methods . By the one in focus individual care learning successes can be recognized after a short time. On request, we will prepare you for various language exams (TOEFL, IELTS and the Cambridge Certificate). You can also get the officially recognized Language certificate Telc gain. All of our business English courses are available in small groups, as individual lessons or as company training. For the business English courses, you should be at least A2 level.

Module I: Communication for Business

In this special communication course for business English you will learn how to correspond well in a professional context. Depending on your professional activity, our lecturers from alerno develop needs-based teaching concepts for various professional groups.

Module III: Networking in English

Module IV: Telephone in English

This course is specifically about business communication over the phone in English. The focus is particularly on listening-speaking exercises.

Module V: E-mail in English

Module VI: Presentations in English

In this course, the participants are helped to develop, create and hold individual presentations in English.

Placement test / course selection

The language level is divided into the common European framework of reference for languages (GER) for comparability and standardization. The levels are divided as follows:

A1 Beginner (Basic knowledge) … Understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and simple sentences.
… introduce yourself, ask other questions about yourself and answer such questions.
… communicate in a simple way when the other person speaks slowly and clearly.
A2 Basic knowledge (advanced basic knowledge) … Understand sentences and frequently used words, for example when it comes to simple information about the person / family / shopping / work.

C1 Expert language skills (fluent in speech and writing) … follow long speeches and conversations with complicated contexts, understand long and complex factual and literary texts, specialist articles and long technical instructions.
